Late actress Brittany Murphy's dad is cyberbullying Lifetime's biopic star Amanda Fuller

Late actress Brittany Murphy's father, Angelo Bertolotti, has turned his anger over Lifetime's upcoming biopic about his daughter on the actress portraying her, Amanda Fuller.

Angelo Bertolotti has taken to Twitter, tweeting and retweeting dozens of tweets referring to Fuller as being too fat to play his daughter and calling the actress a "floozy."

"My daughter #brittanymurphy would be horrified to know who they chose to play her and how cheap it all is," he tweeted.

Fuller spoke with TheTVPage.com and addressed Bertolotti's cyber-bullying.

"He can say what he wants," she told the site. "He has already gone and attacked me on Twitter and I have had to block him and that is fine. He can do what he wants. But I just think it is interesting that the minute she is back in the press he is all about, 'I am going to sue' and all that stuff. If he really respected his daughter's memory then I don't know if he would be trying to make all this controversy about it. Let her rest in peace."

She revealed that "The Brittany Murphy Story" was produced independently, not by Lifetime, and was meant as a tribute to Murphy. Directed by Joe Menendez, the film was shot over 16 days on a very small budget. Lifetime bought the rights to air it.

"It is what it is," Fuller said. "All of our hearts were in the right place. I had two days to prepare."

"I would have loved to have months of preparation and time to get down to a really skinny [body] so I could portray her physically better," she continued. "And we would have loved to have had more money and more time for vocal lessons and stuff like that. But in the end, I think it became less of it being a look-alike piece and more about just trying to capture the essence of who she was."

Fuller stars in the movie alongside Sherilyn Fenn as her mother, Sharon, who is not connected to the movie either.

Murphy first made a big splash in "Clueless," which led to starring roles in "Just Married," "Little Black Book," "Girl, Interrupted" and "8 Mile."

She died in 2009 from what the coroner ruled as an accident caused by a combination of pneumonia, an iron deficiency and "multiple drug intoxication." Four years later, Bertolotti, Murphy's off-and-on estranged father, came forward with his evidence stating that his daughter had been poisoned.

AMY ADAMS GIVES UP HER FIRST CLASS SEAT ON FLIGHT TO A SOILDER!

As if Amy Adams wasn't lovable enough ... the Oscar-nominated actress sat in coach on a flight from Detroit Thursday ... because she gave up her first class seat to a soldier.

Adams' grand gesture was done on the DL, but it happened to be witnessed by ESPN's Jemele Hill, who was seated a few rows in front of Adams.

Hill spotted Adams eyeing the soldier as she got on the plane and later saying something to the flight attendant. Before long, Hill noticed Adams was gone ... and the soldier was in her place.

The "American Hustle" star ended up with us normal folk in coach, where a fan snapped the above photo with Adams and wrote, "Not the best picture of me but i just met Amy Adams on my flight to LAX, this is my claim to fame.

ROMANCE RUMOR DU JOUR: LUPITA NYONG'O LINKED TO CANADIAN RAPPER

It's only been four days since Lupita Nyong'o took home an Oscar (and our hearts), but she's already being linked to someone new. And if the speculation turns out to be true, it's a match made in apostrophe heaven. Shortly after the Oscars, the actress, 31, was photographed outside a taping of "Live! With Kelly and Michael" sharing a hug with K'Naan, 36, a Somali-Canadian rapper.
Even more interesting: He was holding her award. We already know Nyong'o is a fan of his music, with her makeup artist recently revealing how the actress turned her on to K'Naan. Plus, he Instagrammed a barely there photo of the two of them a few months ago. But is something more going on? Right now, it remains unclear. Lupita's rep did not respond to our request for comment, and the K'Naan rumors are among many that have surfaced this season. First up was Lupita's alleged dinner date with fellow Oscar winner Jared Leto, who jokingly called her his "future ex-wife" during his Independent Spirit Awards acceptance speech. On Wednesday, they were photographed sharing a laugh during Paris Fashion Week. Meanwhile, the London Sun (aka the Grain of Salt Times) claims she has an "incredible connection" with her "12 Years a Slave" co-star, Michael Fassbender, who joins castmate Chiwetal Ejiofor as grist for the Lupita rumor mill. According to the tab, Fassy brought his mom to the Academy Awards to show Nyong'o that he wants to "get serious." Not so, says a source close to the pair, who assures Gossip Cop that the story is "100 percent false."
