Poem: Special Friend

Special Friends

You know it's time to move on

when she's always hanging out with her friends

always clearing her cellphone directory when you walk in

always wearing flannel pajama's to bed because she doesn't want to
feel the touch of your hand on her skin

always working overtime and hoping that you find another special friend

always talking on the phone to that man that she says is a friend

belittling you in front of family and friends until you start to cringe

If you don't get that this is the end

Wake up man, she's found another special friend.
