Albuquerque TV station
reports (http://bit.ly/1BkUL0w ) that two 3-week-old pit bulls were in their yard Monday when someone threw acid on them, killing the dogs.
The incident follows those of last month, when authorities say a Lovington family came home from vacation on July 4 to find their dog burned by acid. A week later, a pit bull was stolen from its home and burned the same way. Both dogs survived.
